Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis move against Daily Mail in court

The Daily Mail is in soup again. The Hollywood couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis issued proceedings in the U.K. over the publication on MailOnline of pictures of their daughter.

However this is not the first time the British tabloid newspaper and its entertainment-based website MailOnline in particular is facing Hollywood’s wrath.

On Monday, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis issued proceedings in London’s High Court against the website’s publisher, Associated Newspapers, over two articles that appeared online involving their daughter Wyatt.

The claim concerns the “wrongful publication of paparazzi photographs of family outings,” alongside their use to “promote clothing products by the Mail.”

“Ashton and Mila understandably value their private and family life, and in particular their personal time with their daughter,” their lawyer Paul Tweed said in a statement.

“Like any other family they should be allowed to enjoy family outings without being pursued by photographers. They have made it clear that they do not agree to the publication of photographs of such occasions.”

Last July, George Clooney called The Daily Mail the “worst kind of tabloid” after it printed a story about the mother of his wife Amal Alamuddin. The same month, Angelina Jolie reportedly began legal action against the paper for publishing a video The Mail claimed showed Jolie under the influence of heroin.
