On the 10th of October, Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah took oath as the Judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court (HC.)

Mr. Ahsanuddin Amanullah was administered the oath by the Andhra Pradesh Chief Justice (CJ) Justice Arup Kumar Goswami. The event took place at the premises of the A.P., HC at 10:00 A.M.

The orders of appointing Mr. Ahsanuddin Amanullah as the A.P., Judge was taken by the President of India Mr. Ram Nath Kovind. He transferred Justice Amanullah, a former Patna High Court judge, to the Andhra Pradesh high court.

Born on the 11th of May 1963, Justice Amanullah is a native of Bihar and was A.B.Sc LLB student. He joined the Bihar Bar Council on the 27th of September 1991, as a lawyer. He started his practice as a lawyer in the Patna High Court and argued cases in the Supreme Court, Delhi, Calcutta, and Jharkhand High Courts respectively. He served as the Government Standing Council of Bihar from 2006 to 2010. He has been a public prosecutor since 2010 until he became a judge.

He has acted as an advocate for several Central Government agencies. He was later in 2011 was appointed as a Patna High Court Judge.

With this, Mr. Ahsanuddin Amanullah would be the second highest judge of the A.P., High Court, after the Chief Justice of the A.P., High Court.
