Anandaiah’s Ayurvedic Medicine Gets Approval From AP High Court

On the 7th of June, the Andhra Pradesh High Court (HC) gave clearance to Anandaiah’s Ayurvedic medicine for the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus illness.

The case was pending with the A.P., High Court, which finally got clearance. Recently, 

The judgement of the Andhra Pradesh HC came days after the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government approved the distribution of the Ayurvedic medicines.

As of now, Anandaiah’s Ayurvedic medicine’s category of P, L and F drug has been approved, whereas K drug which is an eye drop, as it is still in the examination process. However, the Andhra Pradesh HC approved all the categories of the Ayurvedic medicine, including K drug for eyes.

In addition, the High Court asked to submit a report regarding the eye drops drug within two weeks. The court also ordered the State Government to distribute the drug to the Wuhah virus patients, following the guideline of COVID-19.

With this, the Andhra Pradesh HC adjourned the hearing to the 21st of June.

Currently, the Ayurvedic medicine is being distributed to the people of Krishnapatnam district of Sarvepalli constituency. The distribution process is being held under the supervision of the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Kakani Govardhan Reddy.
