The Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) Government, on the 3rd of June decided to conduct a Cabinet meeting on the 11th of June.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of A.P., would chair the Cabinet meeting, which was initially scheduled on the 5th of June. However, due to some unsaid reasons, the Cabinet meeting was shifted to the 11th of June.
Nilam Sawhney, the Chief Secretary of A.P., issued an order regarding the same. As per the orders, all officials of all the departments are to submit reports on the issues which need to be discussed in the meeting.
The State Cabinet would also discuss major issues related to the ongoing Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 infection in the State.
In addition, the lockdown 5.0., Unlock 1 and precautionary measures to curb the spread of the virus would be discussed during the meeting.
Apart from this, another major issue, which would be part of the meeting is Pothireddypadu lift irrigation and the controversial High Court judgement in the N.Ramesh Kumar, the State Election Commissioner (SEC) case.
The meeting is scheduled at 11:00 A.M., on the 11th of June.
