Andhra Pradesh Government Issues Transfer Orders Of IPS Officers In State

On the 13th of October, the Government of Andhra Pradesh issued transfer orders of a few Indian Public Service (IPS) officers.

Following the directions of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh the Director General of Police (DGP) of A.P., Gautam Sawang issued the transferring orders.

The DGP has issued orders appointing R.K. Meena as Additional Director General of Greyhounds and Octopus Operations.

Ms. Meena is of the 1995 IPS batch.

Besides Ms. Meena, Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director Sangha Brata Bagchi has also been transferred and was posted as APSP Battalion Inspector General. Mr. Bagchi belongs to the 1996 IPS batch.

Trivikram Verma, a 2005 batch IPS officer who has been awaiting posting for some time, has been posted as Guntur Range Director Inspector General (DIG) and Intelligence DIG Vijaya Kumar transferred as the Special Secretary in the Home Department.

Sudhir Kumar Reddy, a member of the 2010 IPS batch, has been posted as Vigilance and Enforcement Superintendent of Police (SP.)

All the IPS officials would join their new duties with immediate effect.

Nilam Sawhney, the Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh, issued the orders for their joining on the 13th of October.
