K.Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister (CM) of Telangana, on the 30th of May, gave advice to Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the newly elected CM of Andhra Pradesh (AP.)
Mr. Rao, visited Andhra Pradesh to attend the oath taking ceremony of Jagan, held at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium, Vijayawada.
During the event, KCR congratulated Jagan and praised his efforts and struggle of 10 years to become the Chief Minister of AP.
KCR addressed the gathering and said, AP and Telangana should work together and form a cordial relationship for the development of the people.
KCR further said, the AP Government should utilise the Godavari water project for the citizens of AP, who are suffering from water scarcity issues. He asked Jagan to be a good Chief Minister like his father, late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and continue his legacy.
Rao also said, Jagan, with his leadership qualities and the support of the Telangana Government, should work toward the development of the Telugu people across the world.
Jagan Mohan Reddy took oath as the CM of Andhra Pradesh at 12:23 P.M., on the 30th of May.
Ministers and political leaders such as M.k. Stalin, the President of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK,) Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Talasani Srinivas Yadav congratulated Jagan.

Jagan Mohan Reddy will take over as the CM of Andhra Pradesh from the 1st of June.
