In Vizianagaram, a tragic incident occurred on the 8th of August, Monday, killing two people, a mother and a son duo.
According to sources, the mother son duo died due to electrocution while going to work in the field. Getting into the details, the incident took place in the Vavilapadu village of Vepada Mandal in the Vizianagaram district. While switching on the electric motor there, the son and the mother got electrocuted and died on the spot.
The matter came to light when the nearby farmers noticed and reported the family members of the victim. Furthermore, the police were also called who rushed to the spot and started an investigation, as per the complaint filed by the family of the deceased.
The bodies of the mother and son have been taken to the hospital for post-mortem and a case has been registered.
Further details of the investigation is awaited, as the probe is still underway.
