Andhra Pradesh, which was reporting a massive increase in the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases, reduced in the past few days.
In August, the single day spike reached a minimum of 10,000 per day. However, in the past few days single day cases dropped to 7,000.
With the updated cases, the State is on the edge to complete 6.7 lakh cases soon.
On the 26th of September Andhra Pradesh reported 7,293 cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Health Department of Andhra Pradesh, in the last 24 hours nearly 75,990 samples were tested for COVID-19 infection.
In the past 24 hours, 9,125 people have been discharged with perfect health and 57 died.
The State Health Department confirmed a total of 6,68,751 cases of the Novel Coronavirus. Of the total 65,794 are active cases, 5,97,294 are recovered/discharged cases and 5,663 are deceased cases.
Top four districts with the highest number of active cases are East Godavari (10, 856,) Prakasam (10, 485,) West Godavari (5,865) and Guntur (6,106.)
In addition, the mortality rate of COVID-19 in Andhra Pradesh is 0.80 %, the average growth rate of the infection is now 10.20 % from the previous 10.90%. The recovery rate is at 88.90%.
Till the 24th of September, Andhra Pradesh conducted a total of 55,23,786 tests for the Novel Coronavirus.
The total population of the State as per 2019 data is 5,22,21,000.
