On the 21st of November, Andhra Pradesh registered 1,160 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus Or COVID-19.
Out of 1,160 positive cases in the last 24 hours, Anantapur 43, Chittoor 148, East Godavari 165, Guntur 121, Kadapa 70, Krishna 189, Kurnool 23, Nellore 60, Prakasam 66, Srikakulam 46, Vishakhapatnam 67, Vizianagaram 42 and West Godavari 120 Covid-19 positive cases came into existence.
In addition, the State Health Department also reported 1,765 recoveries and 7 deaths in the last 24 hours.
While the total confirmed cases in the state went up to 8,61,092 the recoveries touched 8,36,500. With the death of 7 persons on Saturday, the death toll reached 6,927 and the active cases in the state are 14,770.
Around 68,307 samples were tested by the Andhra Pradesh Government in the last 24 hours out of which 1,160 turned positive.
So far, Andhra Pradesh Health Department conducted 95,43,177 sample tests.
