On the 3rd of October, Andhra Pradesh reported 6,244 new Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 Cases.
In the past few days the State is recording less than 10,000 per day cases of the Novel Coronavirus.
The new cases were updated through a media bulletin on a regular basis, which include number of new cases, deaths and recoveries.
According to the released bulletin, top four districts with the highest number of active cases are:
East Godavari: 9,243
West Godavari: 6,531
Chittoor : 6,232
Prakasam :6, 191
In addition, between the 2nd of October and the 3rd of October, the Andhra Pradesh medical department conducted as many as 72,861 tests for the COVID-19 infection.
With this, the State Health Department conducted as many as 60,21,359 tests till date.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh has a total of 7,13,014 positive cases, of which 55,282 are active cases, 6,51,791 recovered/discharged cases and 5,941 deceased.
The recovery rate of Andhra Pradesh from the Novel Coronavirus is also at 91.41 % and mortality rate is at 0.83 %.
