Andhra Pradesh, which was reporting a massive increase in the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases, reduced in the past few days.
In August, the single day spike reached a minimum of 10,000 per day. However, in the past few days single day cases dropped to 7,000.
With the updated cases, the State is on the edge to complete 6.7 lakh cases soon.
On the 25th of September Andhra Pradesh reported 7,073 cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Health Department of Andhra Pradesh, in the last 24 hours nearly 64,429 samples were tested for COVID-19 infection.
In the past 24 hours, 8,695 people have been discharged with perfect health and 48 died.
The State Health Department confirmed a total of 6,54,385 cases of the Novel Coronavirus. Of the total 67,683 are active cases, 5,88,169 are recovered/discharged cases and 5,606 are deceased cases.
Top four districts with the highest number of active cases are East Godavari (11,131,) Prakasam (10, 564,) West Godavari (6, 519) and Guntur (6,450.)
In addition, the mortality rate of COVID-19 in Andhra Pradesh is 0.80 %, the average growth rate of the infection is now 10.20 % from the previous 10.90%. The recovery rate is at 88.90%.
Till the 24th of September, Andhra Pradesh conducted a total of 54,47,796 tests for the Novel Coronavirus.
The total population of the State as per 2019 data is 5,22,21,000.
