Andhra Pradesh Reports 753 New Cases Of COVID-19

The Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases in Andhra Pradesh declined drastically.

In the past 24 hours, the State recorded less than 1,000 cases of COVID-19.

According to the released media bulletin on the evening of the 16th of November, the State recorded 753 COVID-19 positive cases, 13 deaths and 1,507 people recovered.

With this, the State reported 8,54,764 positive cases, of which 17,892 are active cases, 8,29,991 are recovered/discharged cases and 6,881 are deceased.

Of the 13 people who died in the state due to the virus, two each were from Chittoor, Krishna and Visakhapatnam, one each from East Godavari, Anantapur, Guntur, Kadapa, Prakasam, Nellore, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and West Godavari.

With the latest deaths, the total death toll in the state has risen to 6881.

In addition, as per the bulletin, 43,044 Coronavirus tests were conducted in Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours.

With this the number of Coronavirus tests conducted so far in the State is at 91,97,307.

According to district wise case reported on Monday, 213 people tested positive in West Godavari, followed by 130 in East Godavari, 87 in Chittoor, 76 in Krishna, 66 in Kadapa, 50 in Guntur, 36 in Prakasam, 25 each in Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam, 14 in Nellore, 12 each in Prakasam and Vizianagaram, 4 in Anantapur respectively.
