Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) on the 3rd of July, confirmed 837 cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
The cases of the deadly infection is increasing with everyday big spike in both the Telugu states, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
While Andhra Pradesh is at 16,934 cases, Telangana’s total cases stand at 18,570 cases till the 3rd of July.
According to the media bulletin released by the A.P., Medical Department, out of the total, 837 new cases, 46 cases are from other states residing in A.P., and 2 are foreign evacuees.
Remaining 789 cases are locals of Andhra Pradesh. Out of the total 789 cases, 116 are from Kurnool, 149 from Anantapur, 17 from Krishna, 80 from Guntur, 56 from East Godavari, 47 from Chittoor, 57 from West Godavari, Kadapa (19,) Nellore (15,) Visakhapatnam (54,) Vizianagram (10,) Srikakulam (30) and Prakasam (139.)
The rate of increase in growth of infection is currently 7 %.
The State conducted a total of 9, 71, 611 sample tests for the Novel Coronavirus.
