Rama Krishna, the Superintendent of Police (SP,) on the 19th of July, inaugurated a traffic police station in Tadepalli area of Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh (AP.)

The inauguration of the new traffic police station took place due to the movement of VVIPs on National Highway 16.

Gautam Sawang, the Director General of Police (DGP,) gave the permission to Rama Krishna to inaugurate the traffic police station.

The new traffic police station will have one Circle Inspector, one Sub Inspector and 40 cops.

The responsibilities of the traffic police will be to regulate the traffic in Tadepalli and investigate road accident cases.

Depending upon the work and requirements, the Tadepalli Traffic Police Station will decide whether the number of police officials needs to be increased.

Rama Krishna directed the traffic police to take steps to solve traffic problems, work with dedication and get name and fame to the department.

Apart from Rama Krishna, B. Lakshminarayana, the Additional SP, as well as other police officials were present at the event.
