Mr. Nara Lokesh, the General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) tested positive for the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
On the 17th of January, Monday, Mr. Nara Lokesh took to Twitter and confirmed that he is Wuhan virus positive. In his post, Mr. Nara Lokesh said, “I have tested positive for COVID-19. I’m asymptomatic and feeling fine but will be self-isolating until recovery.”

In addition, Mr. Nara Lokesh further requested those who have come in contact with him to get COVID-19 test at the earliest and take necessary precautions.
Notably, the Wuhan virus cases are rising in the Telugu State of Andhra Pradesh. On the 16th of January, the State Health Department confirmed 4,355 active cases of the Wuhan virus.
