Mr. Thota Chandraiah, a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader was hacked to death in Guntur.
On the 13th of January, Thursday, some unidentified miscreants brutally killed Mr. Thota Chandraiah in Gundlapadu village in Veldurthi Mandal, Guntur. Getting into the details, some unidentified persons brutally attacked Chandraiah with sticks and knives when he was on his way to his village on a two wheeler. He died on the spot with severe injuries
It is to be noted, Mr. Thota Chandraiah is a close associate of Macherla TDP in charge of Brahma Reddy. In addition, the family of Mr. Thota Chandraiah blamed political rivalry the reason behind the death of the TDP leader. The State TDP leaders also blamed the ruling Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government behind the murder, claiming, the after the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy came into power, the TDP leaders were being attacked and killed.
Meanwhile, the regional Police filed a case regarding the incident and launched an investigation, which is underway.
The TDP National Chief Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu condemned the incident and is going to visit Macherla today, the 13th of January.
