A two day annual conclave of the Telugu Desam Party, Mahanadu, started on the 27th of May, through a webinar. This is the first time the TDP organised their annual conclave digitally.
Due to the pandemic crisis of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19, the TDP organised the grand Mahanadu event through Zoom app and planned a digital event.
Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the TDP, inaugurated the event by paying tribute to late N.T. Rama Rao, the founder of the TDP at the party office in Amaravati and addressed the Party cadres.
As many as 25,000 party cadres from Andhra Pradesh and 16,000 from Telangana would attend the event through the Zoom app with sign in details through [email protected].
The two day conclave would witness speeches from 52 TDP leaders and Party General Secretary Nara Lokesh. During the Mahanadu event, the TDP would also pass nine resolutions for the welfare of Andhra Pradesh and four for Telangana.
The Party would also discuss the political and economic situation in the country and in detail of Andhra Pradesh.
The event is scheduled to end on the 28th of May.
