The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) the ruling Government of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) accepted the resignation of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust members.

On the 21st of June, Manmohan Singh, the Special Chief Secretary of the Revenue Department, issued a Government order and approved the resignation.

Mr. Singh further explained the decision of the new Government and said, they took the decision as per Section 101 of the Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987 (Act 30 of 1987.)

Manmohan Singh said, the resignation letters of the TTD Board members Sudha Narayana Murthy, Sugavasi Prasad Babu, Rudraraju Padmaraju, E.Peddi Reddy and Dokka Jagannadham, were approved.

The resignation letters of N. Srikrishna and Bodanapu Ashok Reddy, the Special Invitee of the TTD Board, were also accepted.

The TTD Trust Board was formulated by N. Chandrababu Naidu, the former Chief Minister of AP. As Naidu and his Telugu Desam Party (TDP) lost the AP Assembly and Lok Sabha elections, the TTD Trust Board members had to resign.
