The students of the Kakumanu Social Welfare School, on the 8th of April, formed a human chain and created awareness among the citizens to vote in the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh (AP.)

The students, through their act, urged the citizens of India to perform their duty and vote for the right candidate.

During the show, kids spread the message to opt for unbiased voting. They asked every category of voters to vote, without being influenced by money and liquor.

G. Santoshamma, the Principal of Kakumanu Social Welfare School, B. Prasuna, the Vice Principal, and Sujatha, a teacher at the school, also participated in the event.

The show was witnessed by Dr. P.C. Sai Babu, the Andhra Pradesh Election Coordinator, and the public.

Mr. Babu appreciated the efforts of the school and asked the voters to participate actively in the State Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Andhra Pradesh will contest a total of 175 seats and 25 seats in the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections respectively. The elections in the State are scheduled on the 11th of April.

The major parties contesting the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections are the JanaSena Party, the YSRCP and the TDP.

The results of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections will be declared on the 23rd of May 2019.
