N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 6th of April, presented the first copy of the manifesto of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) to Goddess Durga.

Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the TDP, with N. Bhuvaneswari, his wife, and Devaansh, his grandson, visited a Durga temple and performed a special puja. The couple took blessings from the temple priest and wished for the victory of the TDP in the upcoming AP elections.

Mr. Naidu went to the temple after the release of the TDP manifesto, ahead of the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. The Party, on the occasion of Ugadi, the 6th of April, released its manifesto for the upcoming Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Andhra Pradesh will contest a total of 175 seats and 25 seats in the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections respectively.

The Andhra Pradesh Lok Sabha and Assembly elections are scheduled on the 11th of April.

The major parties contesting in Andhra Pradesh are the TDP, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) and the JanaSena Party.

The results of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
