Pawan Kalyan, the President of the JanaSena Party, on the 9th of April, concluded his campaign in Andhra Pradesh (AP,) ahead of the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Pawan Kalyan, along with Tollywood stars Ram Charan Tej and Allu Arjun, the followers and members of the JanaSena Party, organised several public rallies in three areas of West Godavari district, AP.

On the 9th of April, Mr. Kalyan started his campaign at 10:00 A.M., and addressed a public rally at Gandhi Statue Center in Palakollu.

Mr. Kalyan, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun reached the Narasapuram constituency around 11:00 A.M., and addressed a rally there.

The third rally was scheduled at 1:00 P.M., at Police Bomma Center in the Bhimavaram constituency.

Pawan Kalyan ended his campaign for the AP Assembly and Lok Sabha elections with the rally in Bhimavaram, from where he filed his nominations and will contest the elections.

After separating himself from the Praja Rajyam Party (PRP,) started by Tollywood Mega Star Chiranjeevi, Kalyan, in 2014, established his own Party, the JanaSena Party.

Kalyan is contesting for the first time to become the Chief Minister of AP and conducting campaigns in succession, to win the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in the State.

As per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India (ECI,) the political parties can continue their campaigns until 6:00 P.M., on the 9th of April 2019.

Apart from the JanaSena Party, the TDP and the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) are also in full swing to address as many rallies as possible to ensure their victory in the AP Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Andhra Pradesh will contest a total of 175 seats and 25 seats in the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections respectively. The elections in the State are scheduled on the 11th of April.

The major parties contesting the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections are the JanaSena Party, the YSRCP and the TDP.

The results of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections will be declared on the 23rd of May 2019.
