Vangaveeti Radha, a member of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) made a remark about Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the President of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.)

On the 9th of April, Mr. Radha addressed the media and said, Jagan Mohan Reddy has a habit of misleading people and breaking their trust. He made the comments after Jagan Mohan Reddy denied to nominate Radha from the Central Vijayawada constituency in the AP Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Vangaveeti Radha was a former Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of the YSRCP, who left the Party and joined the TDP.

In January 2019, Mr. Radha quit the YSRCP, as he was upset with the Party and its President, who gave the Central Vijayawada ticket to Malladi Vishnu.

Mr. Vangaveeti said, it is the habit of Jagan Mohan Reddy to promise and then deny and betray, which he will do to the citizens of Andhra Pradesh (AP) as well.

Taking a dig at the Navaratnalu scheme, which was launched by the YSRCP as a part of their manifesto, Mr. Radha said, after launching the scheme, Jagan is confused which ‘ratnam’ he should give to the people.

The YSRCP, on the 6th of April, released the Party manifesto for the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in AP.

Andhra Pradesh will contest a total of 175 seats and 25 seats in the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections respectively. The elections in the State are scheduled on the 11th of April.
