The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) on the 17th of March, announced its final list of candidates contesting the upcoming Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections and Lok Sabha elections.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the President of the YSRCP, announced the final list of candidates contesting the 175 Assembly seats and 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh.
Out of the 175 Assembly seats, 41 seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Backward Classes (BCs) and 5 are reserved for Muslim candidates. The other remaining candidates are said to be a combination of new and old members of the Party.
Jagan Mohan Reddy will contest in the Pulivendula constituency. The following are the Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) selected for contesting the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections:
Speaking about the 25 Lok Sabha seats, 7 candidates are from the BCs, 4 from the Schedule Castes (SCs) and one from the Schedule Tribes (STs.)

The major parties contesting the upcoming Andhra Pradesh Lok Sabha and Assembly elections are the JanaSena Party, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.)
The Assembly elections and the Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh are scheduled on the 11th of April.
The results of the elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
