Tammineni Sitaram, the Assembly Speaker of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) Assembly, recovered from the deadly Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.)
On the 12th of May, Tammineni Sitaram and his wife were declared completely fine from the virus. The couple tested positive for days ago, and were undergoing treatment at the Medicare Hospital in Srikakulam. The doctors at the hospital gave treatment to the couple resulting in the recovery of Tammineni Sitaram and his wife.
After being recovered, the A.P., Assembly Speaker Speaker Tammineni Sitaram expressed his gratitude to the doctors who provided critical treatment in Srikakulam. He also expressed satisfaction with the treatment provided to the patients of the Novel Coronavirus in A.P.
The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) leader also appreciated the treatment of Aarogyasri hospitals. The leader was tested COVID-19 positive in mid April and was under home isolation. Later, in the past week, due to his health conditions was shifted to a hospital in Srikakulam, A.P.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh is one of the worst COVID-19 hit states with close to 10,000 single day spike.
As of now, the 12th of May, the State has 13.22 lakhs COVID-19 cases, of which 1.95 lakhs are active cases.
