The Budget session of the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Assembly started on the 11th of July, around 9:00 A.M., at the Assembly in Velagapudi, Amaravati.

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of AP, Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, the Finance Minister of AP and the Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) arrived at the Assembly to attend the session.

The leaders and MLAs of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) also arrived to attend the Assembly Budget session. 

As per the request of the TDP leaders, in today’s session, the main priority of the TDP leaders are, such as issues of drought and agriculture, will be discussed.  Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is also expected to give a statement about the drought in the State.

N.N. Ramanaidu, a MLA of the TDP, issued a notice regarding the shortage of seeds in Andhra Pradesh.  On the other hand, Anil Kumar, the Minister of Water Resources, discussed about irrigation projects and give a statement about the same.

During the Assembly session, Y.S. Jagan stated, Chandrababu Naidu plays cheap and dirty politics.  On the other hand, Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the TDP, commented about Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and the Kaleshwaram irrigation project.

Soon, both of them started a war of words and had a big fight during the ongoing AP Assembly session.

The Budget of Andhra Pradesh will be presented on the 12th of July, at the Assembly.

Tammineni Sitaram, the Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Assembly, on the 10th of July, announced, the AP Assembly Budget session will continue till the 30th of July.
