The Budget session of Andhra Pradesh Assembly will start from the 11th of July and will continue till the 30th of July.

Tammineni Sitaram, the Speaker of the AP Assembly, chaired the Budget at Completion (BAC) meeting on the 10th of July. During the meeting, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, after discussion with Sitaram, decided to continue the AP Assembly session till the end of the month.

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, the Finance Minister of AP, Srikanth Reddy, the Chief Whip of AP and other Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders were present at the meeting.

On the other hand, Atchannaidu and Nimmala Rama Naidu, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders attended the meeting on behalf of N. Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the TDP.

While Saturdays and Sundays were declared holidays, the other working days of the AP Assembly session will be devoted for discussion about various issues.

The opposition party, the TDP, also requested to discuss, on the 11th of July, about the drought situation in AP. The opposition Party agreed with the decision of extending the Assembly session till the end of the month, as they will get extra time to present various issues and debate about them in brief.

Buggana Rajendra Reddy will present the Budget of Andhra Pradesh on the 12th of July for the financial year 2019-2020.

Kannababu, a Minister of the YSRCP Government, will present the Agriculture Budget of Andhra Pradesh.
