AP Cabinet Meeting About Amaravati Capital Issue Soon

The confusion regarding the Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) Cabinet meeting finally cleared up after the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government released an official notification regarding the same.

On the 17th of January, the YSRCP Government issued a notification rescheduling the Cabinet meeting to the 18th of January at 3:00 P.M.  Initially, the Cabinet meeting was scheduled on the 20th of January.

However, soon, the State Government released another notification which stated the Cabinet meeting would be held on the scheduled date, the 20th of January.

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of A.P., would chair the meeting.  The meeting is scheduled to take a final call regarding the proposal to have 3 State capitals.

The meeting is being organised after the High Power Committee submitted its report regarding the A.P., capitals.

On the 17th of January, the High Power Committee met Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Tadepalli Camp Office and discussed their recommendations.

While the YSRCP Cabinet would discuss the recommendations of the High Power Committee, the Committee members, themselves, are taking representations of the Amaravati farmers.

The Committee members directed the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) to take the recommendations of the farmers, following which, the Committee would submit another report to the State Government.

The AP Cabinet meeting is scheduled to begin at 3:00 P.M., on the 20th of January.

Stay tuned for further updates.
