Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 24th of August, called for an urgent meeting with all the officials of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.)
The decision for an urgent meeting came immediately after he landed in India at 5:00 A.M., on the 24th of August from his recent trip to the United States of America (U.S.A.)
According to sources, officials of the Chief Minister Office (CMO,) Water Resources, Energy, Law, Endowments, Disaster Management, Police and others will attend the meeting.
The meeting started at 10:30 A.M., on the 24th of August.
Speaking about topics, the ministers and officials are expected to discuss the ongoing issues like High Court’s notice on the reverse tender of the hydroelectric project, Polavaram dam, promoting Christianity at Hindu holy temple Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam at Tirupati, the negative impact of renegotiation of Power Purchasing Agreements (PPAs,) law and order issues.
Another topic of discussion is the comment made by Vijayasai Reddy, the Member of Parliament (MP) of YSRCP, regarding the State Government’s action.
Vijayasai Reddy addressed the media and said, whatever YSRCP is doing in the State is discussed with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and has his approval for the actions.
The meeting between the officials of the YSRCP and Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is underway.
