Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) on the 25th of February, announced to give houses to the economically disadvantaged citizens of A.P., under the Spandana Programme.

The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) launched the Spandana Programme which would provide houses to the less advantaged citizens of the State.

On the 25th of February, Jagan Mohan Reddy conducted a video conference with all the collectors of A.P., and directed them to carry out a transparent process of distribution.

Mr. Reddy said, “We are doing a good program providing houses for the poor; it is our responsibility to ensure the smooth going either in the land acquisitions or distributions.” He urged the Collectors to deal with the issue in an effective manner such that there are no complaints.”   He further added, “I don’t want to hear a single complain on the collector,

During the conference, Jagan Mohan Reddy, called for a transparent process to allot lands and houses to eligible people under the programme.

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy appointed Neelam Sawhney, the Chief Secretary of A.P., and Principal Secretary Praveen Prakash to supervise the process in East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna and Guntur districts.

Chief Advisor Ajay Kallam is going to supervise in Prakasam and Nellore districts, the CM’s secretary Arokya Raj for Rayalaseema district and his Additional Secretary Dhanunjay Reddy would supervise  in North Andhra districts.

The beneficiaries of the Spandana programme would be decided by a lottery process and allocation of the lands and houses would be done by the 25th of March.
