Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) is going to visit Delhi once again on the 14th of February.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is going to meet Amit Shah, the Home Minister of India. The meeting is going to take place 2 days after Jagan Mohan Reddy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Recently, on the 12th of February, Jagan Mohan Reddy met Narendra Modi and discussed several issues related to A.P., including the issues of the three State capitals and the abolition of the State Legislative Council.
The meeting of the A.P., CM with the Home Minister of India is said to be very crucial as the duo would discuss the matter of the abolition of Andhra Pradesh’s Legislative Council.
After the Chairman of the Legislative Council announced he would send the two bills pertaining to the decentralisation of Andhra Pradesh’s capital to a select committee, the A.P. Government proposed to abolish the Legislative Council.
An official announcement regarding the meeting, which is scheduled to be held in Delhi, is yet to be made.
