Andhra Pradesh has reported 178 new cases of the Wuhan virus (COVID-19,) taking the total active cases to 2,140.
On the 28th of November, Sunday, the Telugu State reported 178 new cases, 6 deaths and 190 recoveries. The cases were confirmed through a health bulletin released on Sunday evening.
According to the media bulletin, the cases were confirmed after conducting sample tests for the Wuhan virus. With this, the State conducted a total of 3,03,72,427 tests till date.
In addition, of the total 178 new cases, the highest were from Krishna (34,) followed by Chittoor (21,) Guntur (21,) East Godavari (19,) Srikakulam (17) and West Godavari (17.) The lowest cases were reported from Vizianagaram (1) and Kurnool (2.) Of the total 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh, only 5 reported new cases in single digits, whereas 8 districts had new cases in double digits.
With this, Andhra Pradesh has 20,72,624 positive cases, of which 20,56,046 are recovered cases, 2,140 are active cases and 14,438 are deceased cases.
