AP Deputy CM Announces 4 Red Zones For COVID-19 In Kadapa

Amzath Basha, a Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) on the 27th of April, announced 4 new red zones for the spread of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 in A.P.

The decision to mark the four areas of kadapa district in A.P., was taken after the increasing number of COVID-19 infection cases in the district.

The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP)  intensified police personnel deployment and precautionary measures to contain the spread of the virus.

In regard to this, Amzad Basha conducted a meeting with the district officials directing them to implement lockdown guidelines strictly in the four areas. 

The Deputy CM also urged the residents of the district to follow the norms of the lockdown strictly and avoid going outside.

The district police is also being cooperative and doing doorstep delivery of all the essential items for the people of the district.  

In addition, many Muslims are listening to the urge of the State Government and offering prayer at homes during the holy month of Ramadan.

Andhra Pradesh Kadapa district recorded a total of 58 cases of the Novel Coronavirus, whereas total cases in the State are 1,177 till date.
