AP Government Approves Opening Of TTD Temple For Darshan

On the 2nd of June, the Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) Government, announced reopening of the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirupati, A.P.

The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) approved darshan for devotees in the temple of Tirupati.

Anil Kumar, the Executive Officer (EO) of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, recently wrote a letter to Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of A.P., in regard to this.

The YSRCP Government responded to the letter and approved darshan for devotees.

The Government Order regarding the same was issued by the Special Secretary to the YSRCP Government J.S.V. Prasad.

The TTD was closed since the 24th of March, when the nation wide lockdown in the wake of the Novel Coronavirus was announced.  However, all the measures of the lockdown and social distancing would be taken care of during the visit.

After 2 months, the YSRCP Government decided to open the temple for devotees.
