The Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy led Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government approved the implementation of a sub plan for minorities.
On the 16th of September, the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet cleared the sub plan for the Scheduled Castes (SCs,) the Scheduled Tribes (STs) and the Backward Classes (BCs.) Under this sub plan implementation, minorities in Andhra Pradesh, would get benefits of various proposed welfare schemes in the Telugu State. In addition to this, the YSRCP Government also approved a one time settlement (OTS) scheme for eligible people, who applied for a housing loan scheme. Loans provided under the Andhra Pradesh Housing Corporation Private Limited between 1983-2011, would be cleared with OTS.
According to the YSRCP Minister Mr. Perni Venkatramaiah, the OTS amount in rural areas is Rs. 10,000, whereas in municipalities it is Rs. 15,000 and in corporations Rs. 20,000.
The State Minister said, “The borrowers can avail the OTS scheme by paying the prescribed amount till December 15 and the Revenue Department officials will register the land to the OTS scheme beneficiaries on December 21, 2021.”
The Cabinet also discussed to release the second installment of the YSR Asara Programme, providing Rs. 6,470.76 crore to women in 8,00,042 self-help groups (SHGs.)
Yesterday’s Andhra Pradesh Cabinet meeting was chaired by Mr. Y.S. Jagah Mohan Reddy and was attended by the YSRCP ministers and senior leaders.
