On the 2nd of February, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) led Andhra Pradesh Government formed a Medical Committee.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, issued orders regarding the board of the Andhra Pradesh Medical Education Research Corporation.
The committee would include eight members with the Chief Secretary of the Department of Health as the Chairman of the committee.
The newly formed committee would work for the growth, development and enhanced facility of the Health Department in A.P. It would also focus on expanding medical services in the State.
Besides the Chief Secretary of the Department of Health, the committee has Commissioners of Health, Family Welfare, Medical Policy Council, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aarogyasri Trust, Medical Services and Infrastructural Development Corporation (MSIDC) Managing Director of Medical and others would be the members of the meeting
