The Andhra Pradesh Government, on the 25th of June, decided to reduce the security for N. Chandrababu Naidu, the former Chief Minister of AP and his family.
Nara Lokesh, the son of Chandrababu Naidu, was provided with Z category security until now. It has now been reduced to 2+2 gunman security.
On the other hand, the security arrangements and convoys for the family of Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) were also completely removed.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of AP, took the decision when Naidu and his family were on a foreign trip.
The family of Naidu returned from Europe on the 25th of June and reached Hyderabad.
The TDP members expressed their anger over the decision of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and said he is playing dirty politics and trying to prove his power.
The TDP leaders also asked how the AP Government could take such a decision without any prior notice to Mr. Naidu and his family.
