The Andhra Pradesh (AP) Government, on the 11th of June, announced, it will distribute free shoes to the students from class 1st to class 9th at government schools.
The free distribution to the students will begin from the academic year 2019.
As of now, the Andhra Pradesh Government is distributing free uniforms, free textbooks and mid day lunch to the students at government schools.
Apart from that, teachers are also contributing to this and distributing school bags with the cooperation of several donors.
Now, the government schools in AP will have everything for their students, right from meals, uniforms and textbooks, to newly added shoes.
The Government already implemented the mid day meal scheme to increase the enrolment in schools and to reduce the number of dropouts.
The Government will distribute shoes with uniform to the students after the schools reopen on the 12th of June.
