The Andhra Pradesh Government is going to recruit 26,778 medical staff due to the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 outbreak.
In the past few weeks, the State witnessed a massive rise of the Novel Coronavirus positive cases.
Till the 30th of July, the State recorded a total of 1,30,557 cases of the COVID-19 infection.
In this context, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government took a key decision regarding the situation.
On the 30th of July, the State Government decided to recruit 26,778 people in medical posts across Andhra Pradesh.
The posts would be of various departments, including specialist doctors, medical officers, staff nurses and technicians.
The Andhra Pradesh Health department directed all district collectors to recruit medical posts by the 5th of August.
Walk in interviews for recruitment would begin from the 31st of July.
While specialist doctors would be paid an honorarium of Rs 1,50,000 per month, general doctors would be paid Rs. 70,000 per month.
The recruitment process would be done by the 5th of August and appointed staff would join immediately.
