AP Govt Announces Financial Assistance To White Ration Card Holders

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) announced to give financial assistance of Rs. 1,000 to the White Ration card holders in his State.

The citizens of the State who have White Ration cards would get the additional Rs. 1,000 benefit besides free rice and pulses, during this lockdown period. 

Gandham Chandrudu, the District Collector of Anantapur, announced the distribution of free pulses and rice, starting from the 4th of April.

The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) allotted an amount of Rs. 106 crores , which would help 10,65,986 families for 3-4 days.

The YSRCP Government also deposited Rs. 86 crores for the financial aid of Rs. 500 to Below Poverty Line (BPL) people in the State for the next three months.

Apart from the State Government, the Central Government would also provide Rs.2,000 to farmers under the Kisan Yojana Scheme, Rs. 2 lakh to every Self Help Groups (SHG) and financial help of Rs. 1,500 to every woman working with the SHG in April.
