In Andhra Pradesh, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government is all set to distribute pensions to 62,79,486 beneficiaries, from the 1st of August.  The pension would be disbursed under the YSR Pension Kanuka, for which the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy Government has released Rs.  Rs. 1,596.77 crores.

Mr. Budi Mutyala Naidu, the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, the 1st of August, Monday, said, the Government has already released Rs. 1,596.77 crores and 3.10 lakh new beneficiaries have been added to the list.  Speaking to the media at his camp office at Taruva in Devarapalli Mandal, Anakapalle district, Mr. Budi Mutyala Naidu said that volunteers are going to distribute the pensions to the beneficiaries starting Monday, the 1st of August.

Notably, approximately 2.66 lakh volunteers across the State are ready to disburse pensions to the beneficiaries from the early hours of Monday.  The pension amount would be distributed to all the beneficiaries with the help of biometric and IRIS systems, within the next five days, the 5th of August.

Besides biometrics, the AP Government also implemented the Real Time Beneficiary Identification System (RBIs) system for the identification of the beneficiaries, following which he/she would get the pension amount.  

Furthermore, the Andhra Pradesh Government also asserted that all precautions have been taken to ensure that all the beneficiaries should get the pension in the given time. 

The distribution of pensions is being monitored through call centers at the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) offices in 26 districts in Andhra Pradesh.
