The Andhra Pradesh High Court (HC,) issued an order and allowed the Central Investigative Department (CID) to interrogate Mr. Narayana, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader.
With this, the CID officials have already started an investigation and issued notices to Mr. Narayana. The CID officials served notices to the TDP leader and former minister Mr. Narayana under Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) Section 160.
They issued a notice to Mr. Narayana, the TDP leader, over allegations of irregularities in the Amaravati Master Plan Inner Ring Road affair. The judgement of the court came after a hearing held on the 16th of November, Wednesday. Notably, Mr.Narayana, the TDP leader filed a petition in the High Court, challenging the CID notices. However, the court dismissed Mr. Narayana’s plea and allowed the CID officials to continue their probe.
Similarly, the High Court ordered TDP leader Narayana to cooperate with the CID investigation into the irregularities matter.
