Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of AP, on the 24th of June, ordered, the illegally constructed Praja Vedika be demolished by the evening of the 26th of June.

The process of demolition of the Praja Vedika started on the night of the 25th of June, after the two day Collector’s Conference on the 24th and the 25th of June.

The AP High Court dismissed the lunch motion petition and postponed the case for two weeks. The Court said it will hear the arguments about the recovery of expenses, but will not give a stay order for the demolition process.
