Konidela Nagababu, a member of the JanaSena Party and the brother of Pawan Kalyan, the President of the JanaSena Party, on the 29th of March, offered offered prayers at a mosque in Andhra Pradesh.

Nagababu, who recently joined the JanaSena Party, kick started his campaign for Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh.

On the 29th of March, Nagababu visited a Sunni Jamia mosque in the Narasapuram constituency and offered prayers. He later interacted with the people there and tried to find out about the situation and the problems of the constituency.

Speaking about his interaction, Nagababu said, the people of Narasapuram, especially his Muslim brothers at the mosque, welcomed him.

Nagababu nominated his name as a MP candidate to contest the Andhra Pradesh Lok Sabha elections from the Narasapuram constituency.

Andhra Pradesh will contest a total of 175 seats and 25 seats in the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections respectively. The elections in the State are scheduled on the 11th of April.

The major parties contesting the Andhra Pradesh Lok Sabha and Assembly elections are the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) the JanaSena Party and the TDP.

The results of the Andhra Pradesh Lok Sabha and Assembly elections will be declared on the 23rd of May 2019.
