Andhra Pradesh, on the 13th of June, reported 222 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
With these updates, the State has a total of 5,858 cases of the Novel Coronavirus till the 13th of June.
Out of 222 new cases, 53 are reported from Kurnool, 25 from Krishna district, 13 from Guntur, 15 from Anantpur, 9 from Nellore, 5 from Chittoor, 11 from East Godavari, 13 from West Godavari, 26 from Kadapa district, 9 from Visakhapatnam, 2 from Vizianagaram and 5 from Srikakulam.
The Andhra Pradesh Government took several measures to control the curb the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.
Despite the measures, the State witnessed highest spike in the past few days.
Meanwhile, the containment zones of the State is under strict lockdown, whereas the Green, Red and Orange Zones are allowed with limited movement under the State releases guidelines.
The State’s containment zone is under lockdown till the 30th of June.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh has a total of 5,858 positive cases. Out of the total, 2,591 are active cases, 3,185 recovered/discharged cases and 82 are deceased.
