On the 24th of June, the Andhra Pradesh Health department confirmed 497 new Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases in the State.
This is the fifth consecutive day when Andhra Prades reported 300 plus fresh cases of the Novel Coronavirus.
Out of the new 497 cases, 76 cases reported from Kurnool, 36 from Krishna district, 90 from Anantapur, 39 from Guntur, 54 from East Godavari, 28 from West Godavari, 40 from Chittoor, 9 from Nellore, 24 from Kadapa, 41 from Visakhapatnam, 8 from Prakasam and 3 from Vizianagaram.
Remaining cases were 49 were foreign returnees and residents of other states in Andhra Pradesh.
With the aforementioned updates, Andhra Pradesh has a total of 10,331 positive cases, 5,423 active cases, 4,779 recovered/discharged cases and 129 deceased.
Till the 24th of June, Andhra Pradesh conducted a total of 7,50,234 sample tests, our of which 10,331 are positive including 1,661 cases from other states, residing in Andhra Pradesh.
