On the 22nd of May, Andhra Pradesh reported 62 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 infections.
With the new cases in the last 24 hours, the cases reached a total of 2,667 cases of the Novel Coronavirus with 55 fatalities till date. The rise in the cases were confirmed by the Health Ministry of Andhra Pradesh on the morning of the 22nd of May.
According to the media bulletin for COVID-19, the State conducted 8,415 sample tests for the Novel Coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours.
In addition, only 728 are active cases for the Novel Coronavirus and 1,731 cases recovered and were discharged from the hospitals.
