Schools in Andhra Pradesh resumed classes after long summer vacations on the 5th of July, Tuesday.

After the 2020 Pandemic of the Wuhan virus, schools and education systems made changes in the academic year.  To strengthen the education system, satellite foundation schools consisting of Pre Primary-1 and Pre Primary PP-2 would begin in the Telugu State.  Soon, there would be satellite foundation, foundation, foundation plus, pre-high school, and high school plus schools, six steps of the academic year.  The Andhra Pradesh Education Department has also issued instructions to the field level officials to shift the 3rd, 4th and 5th classes of the primary schools which have been merged so far to the nearby high schools and pre-high schools. 

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the first day of school after vacation, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) would implement the Vidya Kanuka kits for the students.

 

The education department has completed the arrangements in regard to the distribution of the kits, which would be given to the students studying in classes 1 to 10. 

The Vidya Kanuka kit would have three pairs of uniform cloth, shoes, socks, a belt, a school bag, textbooks, workbooks, and an Oxford English Telugu dictionary. 

The programme would be inaugurated by Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, at Adoni Municipal High School of Kurnool district.  For the programme, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has spent Rs. 931.02 crores.
