Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) reacted to the attacks on the TDP activists after the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Lok Sabha and Assembly election results.
On the 14th of June, during the TDP state level workshop at a Convention Center in Vijayawada, Mr. Naidu expressed anger against the attacks on the TDP workers in nearly 100 places.
The Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs,) the Members of Parliament (MPs) and the Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs) attended the workshop.
Mr. Naidu said, “The party workers are been attacked and their properties are also been destroyed.”
He further said the opposition party, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) attacked the TDP workers after they won the AP Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
Naidu praised the TDP Government and said, “The TDP was in ruling for five times, but never encouraged such attacks. On the occasion.”
Chandrababu Naidu urged the TDP leaders to support the Party workers who are in villages and arranged a toll free number for emergency purposes.
During the workshop, Mr. Naidu asked the senior leaders of the Party to review the reasons behind the defeat of the TDP in the AP Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. He said previous defeats of the Parties are acceptable but in 2019, they are clueless.
After the workshop organised for the leaders and workers of the Party Mr. Naidu along with the senior leaders is going to chalk down strategy for the Party.
