Botcha Satyanarayana, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister of Andhra Pradesh, commented about Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N. Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to Amaravati.

On the 26th of November, Mr. Satyanarayana addressed a press conference and said the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) is not scared of Chandrababu Naidu.

When asked if the State Government would restrict Naidu’s visit to the Capital City, Satyanarayana said the YSRCP would not create any problem during Naidu’s visit.

Botcha Satyanarayana further blamed the TDP Government, stating it did not allocate funds for the development of Amaravati.  He said Chandrababu Naidu ignored the development of the State Capital. On behalf of the YSRCP Government, Satyanarayan said, “We will substantiate every mistake committed by Naidu with proofs and evidence soon.”

Highlighting the companies with which the TDP signed agreements, Satyanarayana said there is no clarity in the agreements and Memorandums of Understanding signed by the former Government.

While criticising Nara Lokesh, the Working President and General Secretary of the TDP and Naidu, Botcha Satyanarayana said both Nara Lokesh and Naidu do not have it in them to face the public, which is why they are fighting and criticising the YSRCP with the help of Twitter.

The comments of Botcha Satyanarayana came after the TDP President announced he would visit Amaravati to inspect the development and construction work taking place.

Meanwhile, the State Government also ordered YSRCP officials to ensure Amaravati is developed under the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA.)
