The Budget session of the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Assembly resumed again on the 15th of July, after the weekend.

On the 15th of July, the Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) of Andhra Pradesh started the discussion regarding the Budget of AP.

On the 12th of July, Buganna Rajendranath Reddy, the Finance Minister of AP, introduced the Budget of Andhra Pradesh.

The discussions regarding the same continued on the 15th of July. During the ongoing session of the Budget session, MLAs asked about the global giant Kia Motors.

Buggana Rajendranath Reddy said, Kia Motors established their manufacturing unit in AP only on the request of late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, the former Chief Minister of AP.

Buggana Reddy further explained their role in the development and said, YSR wrote a letter to the Company during his tenure, to establish a manufacturing unit in the State.

However, during the session, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders said, Kia Motors established their unit in AP due to the efforts of the TDP, when the Party was in power. The Company came to the State as N. Chandrababu Naidu, the former Chief Minister of AP, offered subsidies to them.

The session also witnessed other major discussions related to the development of the State and its people.

The AP Assembly session started on the 11th of July and will continue till the 30th of July.
